I grew up in New Orleans, LA, and spent eight years as an Armor officer in the United States Army after graduating from West Point in 2017. During my Army career, I commanded a company of 109 Soldiers, ran a maintenance operation responsible for more than 165 vehicles, and led operations for a 15,000-Soldier unit spread across six countries. I also served on rotational deployments to Kuwait and Poland. Those experiences taught me how to lead people, manage resources, make decisions under pressure, and take responsibility for teams doing difficult work in demanding environments.
After leaving the Army, I worked in supply chain strategy at SRS Distribution (a Home Depot company), one of the largest building products distributors in the country. While pursuing my MBA at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, I spent a summer working inside True View Windows & Glass, a commercial and residential window and glass company. Those experiences gave me firsthand exposure to the people, systems, and day-to-day decisions behind the kinds of businesses I hope to own.
I am drawn to businesses that are unglamorous and hard to replace: companies with trucks, crews, and long-standing customer relationships, where the jobs are difficult to do well and the people doing them are the reason the business succeeds.
